these are my reasons to know you

I want to know you not because you are a success but because you sometimes fail
I want to know you when life is sweet, as well as during the experiences that are somewhat sour
I want to know your smile as well as the pain it is masking
I want to know you in times of peace, as well as in your rage, hurt and confusion
I want to know you not only for your redeeming character, but for your mistakes and error in judgment

I want to know all of you, for all of you is the divine being of light journeying down this human path alongside all that is me.
Every day, in every way, never accept that you are anything less than perfect.
